Quiet night.Quiet post.

It's a quiet night in my home,
everyone is asleep except me,
typing away here at the living room with my dad sleeping on the sofa.
Today, there will be a match between Spain and Italy 2.45am later of the 2008 Euro Cup.
Of course I'm not going to watch,
its way past my bed time, lolx..
plus,I'm not that much of a football fan either.

There's a big box placed in front of my piano,
inside contain my stuff that I wanna bring back to school tomorrow.
That's right, I'm going back school tomorrow night.
I'm expecting a very head spinning two weeks ahead,
with all the preparations of the orientation and the orientation week itself.
Urgh...

Went for Made of Honor with Jun on Friday,
typical chick flick but I like it~ hehehee...
McDreamy is still very dreamy and Michelle Monaghan is outstanding.
She was in MI:3 as well, as Tom Cruise's wife.
Made of Honor is a worth watching movie if you're looking for a romantic comedy.
Its funny, heart breaking at times and its romantic~
There were some "awwwww~~~~"s in the movie theater and someone even shed some tears for the movie.
Girls, you'll love the movie.
and boys, go watch it with your gal with a pack of tissue or a handkerchief in your pocket.
She might need it. lolxxx

Alright, I'm sleepy and tired and only half of the packing is done.
So that's all for now.

Oh ya, I don't know how many of you have watched A Good Year by Russell Crowe,
but you like France and Russell Crowe, it's a fine movie to watch. I truly enjoyed it.
Go watch Pan's Labyrinth if you're in for awesome special effects cause the special effects of the movie are so real, they really scared me. Its a movie worth watching.
Any nice recommendation for me?

This is me signing off.
Bon nuit.

Movies movies movies

UPDATES:

I've been watching a lot of movies lately,
all sorts of movies from horror to romance comedy.
what can I say, I love movies!!

That day I'd came across a classic in Cinemax,Astro.
Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)
starring Audrey Hepburn and Paul Peppard,
based on a novel by Truman Capote.
It was a very nice romance comedy,
the outfits in the movie was fabulous and timeless.
My cousin has the whole collection of Audrey Hepburn movies,
am planning to lend them from her and watch them all.^^

Came to know Truman Capote's name is because of another movie,
or rather, His movie. It was a movie about the years of his life when he wrote his reknown book,
In Cold Blood.
The book is about the murder of a family of five in Kansas, they were shot at the head by a shotgun in close range. The murderers were caught and executed. Capote built a very close relationship with one of the murderers Perry and the relationship damaged him deeply.
It took him years to finish the book and it was the last book he ever managed finished.
If my memory serves me right, the movie is titled Capote, starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
Stunning performance by Hoffman, it was a very good movie.

I'd even watched Gone with the Wind (1939).
Though it was rather torturing with a nearly 4 hours plot.
I didn't really like it and found it rather boring.

and the list goes on,
Sleepless in Seattle
P/S: I love you
Sound of Music
The House
Kung Fu Panda
etc etc...

Any nice movie recommended?
Let me know ya. ^^

A heavy one

My last post was about 10 days ago,
haven't been updating cause I dunno what to write
or how to put my current feeling into words.

I know I may sound very unusual like this but ...
I'm not ready to talk about what's going on right now,not just yet
so please bare with me and spare me with all those questions you might have in your mind right now,
All I can say is this is a rather tough time for my family and I.
Don't take wild guesses, when the time is right,
I'll let you all know what's going on.

Maybe some of you have been noticing my sudden change of mood lately,
I get impatience and irritated very easily,
I got a lot things going on in my mind right now,
and I'm trying to figure things out.
Things are out of my hands, beyond my control, beyond my abilities.
Too many uncertainties are involved, too many variables,
too many concerns...

I don't expect you to understand any of this
but if I can have your supports, that would be nice.
I will really appreciate that.

p/s: don't worry about me, I'll be ok.

The Increase of oil price

Less than an hour to go before the petrol and diesel price make a big leap,
petrol price will jump to 40& from RM1.92/litter to RM 2.70/litter, and diesel will increase RM1.00 to RM2.50/litter. Wow!!
Still, this price is still does not fully reflect the market price for petrol as the government still implementing control on the oil price but our oil price will be allowed to float with the market starting August and that will certainly injured consumer more as petrol price will probably rise to RM 3-4.00 per litter.
Our CPI (Consumer Price Index) is expecting to rise to 5% this year.
The increase of oil price will certainly have negative impact on the inflation rate that was 3% that came in last April, although 3% is still below average but the future does not look good on this. It is said that the government will implement a direct-cash subsidize, for cars 2000cc and below, they will receive RM 625 cash payment as a direct-subsidy. How and when are the government to implement the subsidy, we'll just have to wait and see.
Later on July this year, the price of electricity is expect to rise as well, putting even more burden on consumers
Damn it,this will certainly increase our cost of living. What we heard the most recently is the price of everything is increasing, EVERTHING except the salary. Pathetic that is.

I was among those who queued for a refuel before the rise of price hit. I've never seen gas station so crowded before!! People are queueing up for petrol and diesel all over nation. I queued for almost half an hour before it was my turn.

Why aint Malaysians protesting??
People will certainly suffer more especially those low income units.
but let's not forget we are one of the most heavily subsidize country in the region, our oil price is among the lowest in the region at this moment.
But if this inflation continues, people will be spending less and causing lack of money in the market, our economy will slow down. Let's hope there won't be another economy crisis.
