UPDATES:
I've been watching a lot of movies lately,
all sorts of movies from horror to romance comedy.
what can I say, I love movies!!
That day I'd came across a classic in Cinemax,Astro.
Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)
starring Audrey Hepburn and Paul Peppard,
based on a novel by Truman Capote.
It was a very nice romance comedy,
the outfits in the movie was fabulous and timeless.
My cousin has the whole collection of Audrey Hepburn movies,
am planning to lend them from her and watch them all.^^
Came to know Truman Capote's name is because of another movie,
or rather, His movie. It was a movie about the years of his life when he wrote his reknown book,
In Cold Blood.
The book is about the murder of a family of five in Kansas, they were shot at the head by a shotgun in close range. The murderers were caught and executed. Capote built a very close relationship with one of the murderers Perry and the relationship damaged him deeply.
It took him years to finish the book and it was the last book he ever managed finished.
If my memory serves me right, the movie is titled Capote, starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
Stunning performance by Hoffman, it was a very good movie.
I'd even watched Gone with the Wind (1939).
Though it was rather torturing with a nearly 4 hours plot.
I didn't really like it and found it rather boring.
and the list goes on,
Sleepless in Seattle
P/S: I love you
Sound of Music
The House
Kung Fu Panda
etc etc...
Any nice movie recommended?
Let me know ya. ^^
