Have I ever told you guys about my childhood??
It was anything but boring.
I had the most wonderful, colorful and unforgettable childhood, ever!
I did crazy, dangerous and stupid things,
and of course, I was never alone.
Growing up as the only daughter in the house and with only one year between us,
it was easy for us get along, and i mean...very well along. We spent every after school day together on the playground or around the neighbourhood with the boys, or sometimes at home talking about our plans to run away together, planning the route and we even had how much money we would need to take with us figured just because we can't stand our grandma kept yapping at us but would forget all about it when it was dinner time. We basically did everything together. EVERYTHING...
All the conspiracies and mischievous things we did, we planned and executed them together.
Although sometimes we would mess things up, but we always learn some new lessons from the screw ups, like the one time we almost blew up my uncle's workshop, NEVER play with fire near anything that contents petrol or fuel. After the incident I almost turned all her hair into burned curls, we never set any cotton balls on fire ever again! Among others, these are the two bearable examples that were OK to be posted in public. Others....you don't want to know and we wouldn't want to tell anyone about them as well and we have an unspoken oath to never betray each other to our family.
Therefore, naturally, we also shared the spanking part together.
Still, as kids, we used to fight once in a while too and for that, I still owe her a tooth that was never been found.
Now, we don't get to spend so much time together anymore, but we always manage to have a good laugh whenever we're together.
Its always nice to have someone who understand and laugh at your stupid jokes or crack at just one look from each other.
She was my saviour during the time when she was in INTI and I'm here, coffee, food, movies, gossip etc.
She's couple hundred thousand miles away in Adelaide now, and I miss her alot.
Even though we're cousins, she feels more like a sister to me and I have and I will always love her as a sister.
My childhood was memorable because of her.
We always joke about how we should write a book about our childhood stories together.
Hmmm...maybe we should really do that eh? Maybe...just maybe...
